Before bringing your dog for boarding or grooming, you must provide current proof of vaccinations (with expiration dates), done by a licensed veterinarian.
- Rabies
- DHLPP - (Distemper, Hepatitis, Leptospirosis, Parainfluenza, Parvovirus)
- Bordetella (kennel cough -- preferably every six months)
- Fecal Exam
- Flea & Tick Prevention (must be current -- must be year-round prevention)
Waiver forms will be signed at The Dog House. Documents will need to be thoroughly read and signed before your dog(s) can board or be groomed:
- Dogs MUST be non-aggressive towards other dogs and people
- Dogs must be in generally good health
- Dogs must not have been exposed to rabies, distemper, parvo virus, or other contagious diseases within a 30 day period prior to boarding, daycare or grooming.
- If dog was diagnosed with contagious disease, the dog MUST be cleared by a licensed veterinarian before returning to The Dog House.
- At this time, we prefer no big beds or large blankets/comforters. Small blankets, t-shirts, and toys are acceptable.
- We prefer no rawhides or bones
- Personal items must be labeled with a permanent marker to avoid items getting lost
The Dog House does its best to keep our facility clean and sanitized. We require every dog to be current on vaccinations. Unfortunately, illness and disease are possible, despite all measures of cleanliness.
